Mesa Temple

On Feb. 18th I went to the Mesa Temple to receive my Endowments. It was a wonderful experience to be there with my family. I will be going to the San Antonio Temple back in Texas as many times as I can before I leave for my mission. Starting tomorrow I will have 16 more days til I report to the MTC. The nerves are kicking in but I know that this will be an amazing experience for me. After going to the Temple it has only motivated me more to serve my Savior. I love him very much and am very thankful for the chance that I had to go into His house in Mesa Arizona.

It was an amazing day with my family at the Temple. Time to go get food!

Mission Pictures!

So I had such a fun time on Feb. 6th! I had the opportunity to have mission pictures done! We had 4 hours of FUN, Thanks to Christy Hightower Photography Her and her husband were great and made my experience awesome. They had great ideas and I'm happy with how my pictures turned out. I will post some down below, hope y'all like em!!

Count Down & Shopping!

So its now 2014, and I will be reporting to the MTC in about 36 days. I am so nervous but excited at the same time. I am mostly nervous about leaving my family, and I'm excited to serve my Savior. In this month of February I have been Shopping Shopping Shopping! It has been so much fun! I got some new bright blue luggage and ordered all of my missionary clothes online.. except some things that we got up in San Antonio, but it was so difficult to find modest clothing for my mission! They were either too fancy, or what to appear to be a modest shirt.......until I picked it out of the rack and saw it was completely see through!  So it has been rough trying to find modest shirts and some skirts in stores, and not only that but comfortable and light fabric for the HOT days in Jamaica. My mom and I have had lots of fun shopping though and it just gets me even more pumped to leave for my mission. I will show the things that I bought down below!Enjoy!!
