Hey Mom!!! My first day at the MTC was great, it was a lot of fun. I had a host come up to me and she was from Brazil and she showed me around and it was great! My companions names are Sister Barlow and Sister Schwendiman. They are awesome companions. I met my companions the first day at the MTC. The food is edible, and some times really really good. We get a lot of ice cream on sundays!! WOOHOO. SUGAR RUSH. Role playing is so awkward but I am used to it. The first day I got here I told them that I am not looking forward to role playing and they all laughed and guess who they call to role play all the time? ME! YAY i'm the chosen one!! haha they all laugh and my teacher Brother Frost says I kill them role plays! So in other words, I'm BOSS. haha time does seem like it is flying by but some days I get kind of home sick. I miss my little Lauren and I miss all of you. But I am here to do the Lords work so its all good! A sister training leader is just a leader who helps and guides new sister missionaries and make them feel welcomed and show them around and help em. Just bein a leader. I received my temple recommend which is awesome, and I am going to the temple today after we do our laundry. (Surprise huh?! I am actually doing work and laundry!) Yall should be so proud. Tell dad he will be shocked. We have only had brother Foster from the quorum of the Seventy talk to us and it was pretty good it was on Prayer. What I have learned here is that we don't teach the lessons, the spirit does. One powerful talk that I heard was from Elder Bednar and he was talking about the characteristics of Christ. He said He turns outwards to others NOT INWARDS. The natural man always turns inward on themselves which is why we are an enemy to god. It really made me sad because it is soo true! So this is my goal, is to do my best every day to turn outwards and love my investigators like my Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ does. I am doing the work for them, I am their instrument. So whatever the Spirit needs me to tell them I will DO IT. My district is awesome!! there is only 6 of us, they don't even have JAMAICA shirts for us here. They have every other mission but ours its like they haven't even heard of it before. We always ask elders and sisters in the MTC where they are serving just so we can tell them that we are going to Jamaica. They are always like "Woahhh Jamaica!! we never heard of it thats sooo cooooooool". HAHA the Elders in my district are the best. We are like a big happy family. we always say that we are family because we pretty much are. We left home and we are serving the Lord. There is Elder Kurtis, Elder Guthrie and Elder Jackson and then ME, sister Barlow and the other Sister name that I can't even spell. I was going to send you the pictures from the MTC, but I am doing Laundry and forgot my Camera!!! AHH I am sooo sorry! I will send you pictures when I am in Jamaica I promise. I will be able to call you while I am in the airport on my way to Jamaica. I bought a phone card today, so I will be calling you guys from the airport on Tuesday. We fly to Dallas, Texas and then to Florida, and then from Florida to Jamaica. So its going to be a LONNG day!!! we won't get to Jamaica til 8PM. So its gonna be long. What phone number should I call you on?? 701-330-7961? right? Anyway, make sure to have your phone on you so I won't waste any of my min. on the phone card. Okay well I LOVE YOU, and I will be waiting for you reply while I do my laundry hahaha. LOVE YOU GUYS and also, I thought it was adorable when you told me about Lauren in my makeup drawer. what a cute baby sis I have. I miss her soo much but I MISS all of you the same. alright well tell me about what you guys have been up to. Oh and also I forgot to tell you but we have "investigators" here that we teach as well as role playing. Our investigators are Ryan, Barbara, and Emilia. They are awesome and we always get told we are awesome missionaries. We have only been here such a short time and yet we have learned so much and know how to teach very well. Its great. I promise I am staying safe haha! Mom please don't worry, BREATHE. I am great and will be great for these 18 months try not to worry so much and take care of yourself and get good rest and take your medicine. I love you so much my mother! and thank you for all the packages and emails they really have helped me out so much, I gave a talk on sunday. (They don't tell you who is talking til you are there) so again, I was the chosen one. So I gave a talk and I used a story that you sent me which worked out perfectly into the Atonement. Thanks so much for that, I am always sooo happy to receive things from you! Its awesome. SO mom please don't worry the Lord will take care of me I promise. I am obedient and I am doing the best I can everyday, yeah some days are hard but I can lean on my Heavenly Father and my Companions. I am here to help hasten the work. So please do not worry. LOVE YOU!

Thanks Mom, I love you so much!! I didn't receive my makeup yet, but I did receive a box today actually so that might be it. I am very happy, everything is going good so no need to worry bout me :). Oh and by the way I just sent You, dad, Lauren and Adam a letter today so you guys should be getting them soon. Make sure to read my letter to Lauren. Well I love you and am so glad everything is doing good. I saw that you can still be in the house since its not sold! Which is great!! good well keep me updated on dads jobs or anything if he found a new one. Tell everyone I love them and I am just now finishing up my Laundry, aren't you guys just so proud?! HAHA!! well Love you Mother, oh by the way where did you put my Medication? If I don't find any could you please send me my medication right when I get to jamaica? i am afraid I don't have them.. but I'm not sure. Maybe they are in my carry on i don't know. well alright mom love you thanks for all the emails and the boxes my district was like "WHOA sister Judd has a lot of mail!" and i gave the elders some puppy chow they said they love you for that. HAHA!! the elders also kept coming up to me "sister judd can you help me with my laundry please" sister judd..blabla etc!! haha I feel like their mother! its soooo fun. Elder guthrie is 18 and the other 2 are 19. they are awesome elders love my whole district. okay mom i love you i should probably go.. glad everything is going good for you! be watching out for my call on Tuesday!! love you!!
