4th Transfer: Week 5 ~ LOTS OF PICTURES!

Well that stinks that you won't be able to talk to me today (we email back and forth but we were at Seaworld)... but I will just tell you all about my week, then I have a lot of pictures to send to you (surprise surprise).

My week was pretty good. Sister Woolf and I had a lot of weird and hilarious moments this week. By the way, we dropped her off at the airport this morning so she will be flying out to Jamaica today and then flying out to Georgia tomorrow. HOMEWARD BOUND! Wow, it made me realize that the mission does have an end. Since I have been doing the same thing over and over again 24/7, I feel like its just a part of my life now and that it is never ending. I was excited for her to go back and see her family. I have about 12 more months left so just pray for me that I will endure. Missions are so hard, but the work is moving forward.

Okay...so the first thing I have written down to talk about is.. yes I went to the doctor for my eye. Thankfully it wasn't pink eye but it was an infection. It started out in one corner of my eye and then it spread on the whole half side of my eye. It was horrible, but she just gave me eye drops and it's doing better. As for my roommate, Sister Oman. She went to the doctor because she got CHICKEN GUNYA! It's a disease from mosquitoes that has been spreading across the Caribbean. The doctor said that its not contagious anymore but when she had the fever it was. Thank goodness nobody got it from her but we just have to be aware of that. Her joints are now going to hurt her for months and her fingers are swollen! Its horrible, my poor sister.

A funny thing that happened this week is that on the way to the doctor Sister Woolf almost ran over a man that was selling GINNIP! This man just ran into the street out of nowhere! She almost ran over the guy. We both got so mad at him!

We met with J again yesterday and we taught him the Plan of Salvation which went pretty good. But then he began to tell us that he bought an apartment building and he is going to build up his own church called Canaan Baptist Church. SAY WHAT?! In the restoration lesson we taught him that during the great apostasy people built up their own churches and now J is doing the same! He even got a TAG with his name on it. He said that our name tags inspired him to do the same thing. After we told J that we don't hug after the lesson he gave me a hug anyway! So we will not be teaching him anymore but he is a nice guy.

Oh I almost forgot! It was so hilarious....Sister Woolf and I always pass this building that looks just like Aladdins palace! So I was like "oh my goodness. Lets go in and see what it is!" So we go in and all of a sudden all of these Muslims come out. They got so excited to see us and they invited us in to watch them have their prayer session (we got there right before their prayer session). So Sister Woolf and I went in and I'm guessing we were stepping on a holy carpet or something because a Muslim lady named Jenna (who was the only woman there) said "no no, take off your shoes!" So we took off our shoes and watched the men do their prayer session. They were speaking another language. They were the nicest people though.. Jenna became our friend. She just loved us. So we made some Muslim friends that day . :) Well.. I think thats all the experiences that I had this past week. It was an eventful week as always. Today we will just be hanging out at home and probably taking a nap because we all are exhausted. But who knows? We might find something to do today.

Well......here are LOTS of pictures!!

Then me jumping on the beach, HAHAHA ITS SO CHEESY but I thought it was hilarious.

I have some really horrible and sad news. I just received a message that Sister Rose passed away this past week. I cannot believe this. I just love her. We saw her and served her almost every day. I didn't get the chance to get a picture with them because Sister Rose was always so sick in her bed. Which stinks! I just want to know how her kids, Abby and Shaquil, are doing. But I know through all the experiences that I had with her that I will always remember her. Please keep Abby and Shaquil in your prayers. On a positive note! She is not in pain anymore. It was her time to go. She was miserable every single day. I just know her kids are going through a hard time.

Sister Bailey says thank you for the lollipops and that she loves you! She is quite awesome, even if I say so myself. She will forever be one of my friends. :)

I am so happy to know that all of you are having fun at sea world.... I bet Lauren is having a blast and I bet its so nice for dad to have a day off from work. Thats nice to know that you love your calling. I would think that working with the young girls would be so much fun! Well you guys have so much fun and I will talk to you all next Monday :) LOVE YOU ALL!!
